About 30 minutes ago two friends and I killed Glint. It was really fun and I'm just wondering who else here has killed her and if they have any interesting ideas about possible solo Dragon's Lair builds? :}

Killed her twice with two differnt chars. Its important to have one war hold the egg and have heaps of interupts. Theres a rumour that she has all the elites on her but Ive never had the chance to see. Anyone know about this ?

Ive killed her once on my warrior. All you need is alot of interupts.

My two friends both used their Capture Signets on Gladiators Defence right before we got there, haha.

Does holding the egg work like holding the Master Gear in SF?

The two Warriors were just attacking and I would yell on Vent when she used Jagged Skin and they'd stop. About a minute later she was dead on the ground. =]

I killed her once on my ranger. Did it with a well-planned guild group...my best record for killing her with a PuG would be getting her to about half health.

Basically, it's interrupts and capable tanks...usually very experienced ones or guildies. A PuG that just decides out of the blue to try and kill Glint will probably not succeed.

I highly doubt that since the only skills that Glint has are "(monster only)" skills. That's the first time I've heard that rumor, and I'm sure it's false...

Yes. Or the book in the Fissure, or the torches in Thunderhead...and so on.

I've beaten it several times with PUGs....

My PuG did it, and I was the tank holding the egg. I suggested trying it, as there's no penalty for doing so. Was very pleased when we actually did it.

I've done it 3 times with PUGs. Here's what I do have to add:

she does indeed use only monster skills

Study these skills. It'll tell you what her weaknesses and strengths are. Once understood, and appropriate setups used, she is just another monster.

Whoever said she has all elites is a tard.

Whoever is monking, it really helps to have Prot Spirit. Whatever else you use is fine, just have Prot Spirit. A bond or two are nice.

Not true. I beat it with all henchman.

Just get someone to hold the crystal and dodge the fire balls. Problem solved.

i helped to kill glint in about 5 minutes. if you interruptt her once for any of her skilsl she is as good as dead.

I killed her once and got owned the other 5 times.

I did get a screenshot of me doing the "bow head" emote over her head (with the signature collectors addition green stream) On my necro but I deleted it

Did it on ranger with 6 henchies as well

. Holding the egg is unneccesary... just shoot them down!

ive done it with 2 ppl once...me as a warrior and a guildie as a boonprot monk

just interrupt his crystal hibernation, use smite hex on his damn hex you get so you cant be targetted by spells ( cant remember what its name was ) and he's dead

I killed it once with a Guild Group, I was playing Ranger, but I didn't take interupts...? We all ended up having to stop attacking at appropriate times but the Healer Hench on the other hand...

I also tried to kill it in a PuG group, I just ran over and picked the egg before they went through the portal. We all died and some of them went and did a ragequit... I'm not sure if they had to do the mission again or not...
